HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- The Lady Highlanders cruised past the Alfred University Saxons tonight at Burke Field. Houghton got out to an early 7-0 lead before Alfred would eventually get on the board at the 16 minute mark making the score 7-1.  Houghton would end the half on a 5-0 run to take a 12-1 lead into halftime.  

The Highlanders would stay hot in the second half outscoring the Saxons 6-2 to bring home the win, 18-3.  Alyssa Strom scored her 50th career goal in the game.
