HOUGHTON, NY—The Houghton Highlanders split with Keuka on Wednesday evening, losing opener 0-2, but took game two by a 6-0 score.
  
Houghton comes out 5-9 on the year, while Keuka goes to 1-5.

Game 1: Tanya Hatton (2-3) went five innings in the circle for the Highlanders allowing one earned run on three hits.
 
Keuka scored two runs early in the game with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and a single in the second that enabled a pair of runs to come across.

Game 2:  Kaylee Jentsch (3-1) took game two as she pitched six innings surrendering four runs and striking out four in the victory over the Wolves.
 
Houghton's first run came in the first inning by a Hannah Cybart single down the right field pushing Taylor Dillenbeck across the plate.
 
The third and fourth inning both saw a pair of runs from the Highlanders.
 
Taylor Sile doubled to the right-field driving McKenzie Marti in the bottom of the third. Not too long in the same inning, Cybart rattled off another single, collecting her second RBI, enabling Sile to cross the plate.
 
In the bottom of fourth, Sile recorded her second double on the night scoring two runs in Dillenbeck and Marti. Soon after, Mariah Rogers drove in Sile with a single to the left field.
