HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton women's basketball claimed a win against Geneva College, 80-54, on Saturday afternoon after losing to the Golden Tornadoes earlier in the season.
Geneva would score the first points of the game early on, however, after
Brittany Lenart put 3 points on the board, the Highlanders would continue to hold onto the lead for most of the game. They would end the first half up by 14 points (32-18) and would continue to dominate the court after halftime, scoring the majority of their points in the second half. The Highlanders would end the game with a 13-5 run.
