HOUGHTON, N.Y. – In their last game of the season, Houghton women's soccer ended on a high note with a 3-0 win against the Pioneers of Alfred State.
The Highlanders were quick to put the pressure on Alfred State, taking a shot on goal within the first three minutes of the game and would continue to hold this momentum throughout both periods.
Kealy DeForest scored twice during the game, assisted by
Sierra Neddo in the first period and later on by
Jessica Beattie in the second period. Before assisting DeForest, Beattie would score her eighth goal of the season with the assistance of
Danielle Sloan.
