HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Fighting against the cold and rainy conditions, Houghton women's soccer fell to The Sage Colleges 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at Burke Field.
The Gators were quick to put pressure on the Highlanders, scoring within the first five minutes of the game. Sage would fire eight shots in the first period, scoring half the time. Coming into the second period, Sage scored twice more. Houghton amped up the pressure on the Gators, taking eight shots the latter half of the game with freshmanÂ
