ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Nazareth Golden Flyers capitalized on a 17-5 second half run to hand the Houghton Highlanders their second loss in as many days, 78-65, and their eleventh straight defeat.
Just over five minutes into the second half the Golden Flyers drained a three to grab the lead, 44-43, and steal the momentum from the Highlanders.
Houghton continued to battle throughout, drawing within three as
Dylan Lambert sank a jumper with 4:31 remaining in the game, but from that point on Nazareth would finish the game with a 13-3 run.
Lambert would lead all scorers with 29 points as he collected his fourth double-double of the season, adding 12 rebounds to his tally.
