ST. DAVIDS, Pa. -- Houghton women's lacrosse staged a second half comeback but it wasn't enough as the Highlanders fell 17-16 in overtime to Eastern University on Monday.

Zacchigna and Marissa Hews each scored twice, with Kelsie Ashley, Oswald and Chandler Jones each tallying once during the run.

Neither team would find the net over the next eight minutes, but the host Eagles were able to net the game-tying goal at the two minute mark to send the game into overtime. The teams went scoreless over the first three minutes of extra play. The Eagles found the winner :55 into the second OT period to claim the win.
