Coach's Corner
"Villa Maria is a good team and coached well. Our ladies made a very good defensive effort, holding them 20 points below their average. Leslie, Cori and Emily showed a ton of grit on the boards finishing 30 on top.
"Their zone defense gave us some difficulty at times, but we made some adjustments and took the right shots and finished well. We showed poise and confidence down the stretch with them cutting it to 6, battling back to gain the 11 point lead.
"We're excited to build on the milestones we've set before us these last two weeks and look forward to our next challenge on Friday night. Back at it tomorrow in the gym…one practice at a time, one game at a time. Enjoying the process together." -- Coach
