HOUGHTON, NY – The Houghton women's soccer team lost a hard fought game in double overtime to Penn State-Behrend, 0-1. The score was tied at half time, 0-0. The Lions had 11 shots to HC's 4 in the first half. Both sides had a few good chances in the second half, but neither team was able to convert, keeping the score tied 0-0 at the end of regulation.
Sadie Dunnett controlled the net again for the Highlanders throughout regulation and in the first overtime recording 11 saves for the game. The Lions were able to convert 3 minutes into the second overtime. The Highlanders fall to 3-5-1 on the season.
