HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton field hockey received good news even before their final regular season game started on Saturday. Thanks to St. John Fisher's 3-0 win over Hartwick, the Highlanders earned their first berth in the Empire 8 Tournament.
The Highlanders celebrated that news with an 8-2 win over MorrisvilleĀ State on Burke Field.
