HOUGHTON, NY – Houghton women's soccer played arguably their best game of the season, taking the 12th ranked Geneseo Knights the distance in a 0-0 2OT draw on Burke Field on Tuesday night.
The Knights, who came into the contest with a record of 14-1-1, had been averaging 2.5 goals per game. The tie puts Houghton's record at 5-8-2 with two games left.
Houghton is still alive for an E8 playoff berth, but must wait for the outcome of several games across the conference this weekend.
