PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher Cardinals sank nine three-pointers and made 37 trips to the foul line, converting 29 of them, as they defeated the Houghton Highlanders, 102-70, on Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in Empire 8 Conference play.
 
The Cardinals opened up a 10-point lead midway through the first half, then utilized a 12-0 run several minutes later to extend their lead to 20 points as the teams broke for halftime.
 
Houghton would come no closer than 16 points in the second half as Fisher continued to play strong on both ends of the court.
