HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Stevens Ducks sank 14 three-pointers, shooting over 45 percent from beyond the arch, to down the Houghton Highlanders on Friday night, 83-48.
The Highlanders kept things close until the closing minutes of the first half, when the Ducks hit a three and a layup to head to the lockers with an 11 point lead, 40-29.
In the second half, Stevens repeated their first half offensive performance, while the Highlanders struggled from the floor, scoring only 19 points on 7-of-25 shooting.
