Highlanders Use PKs to Advance to Championship of Behrend Tourney

ERIE, Pa. – The Highlanders men's soccer team tied 1-1 with Penn State Behrend, but advanced in the tournament by winning the PK shootout 4-2 in their season opener.

>> In the 18th minute Penn State Behrend's Matt Dziadosz got his first goal of the year giving the Lions the early lead.
>> In the 44th minute with time nearing the end of the first half Houghton's Bjorn Webb netted his first goal of the year with an assist from Ben Lawrence to tie the game back up.
>> At the end of extra time the Highlander's Ben Lawrence, Jesse Toth, Tyler Inch, and Andy Bussey all scored in penalties while the Lion's netted two, missed one, and had one saved by Houghton's keeper Jacob Dunnett.
