HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Ducks of the Stevens Institute of Technology handed the Highlanders their first loss, 1-0, in 10 straight games as the Highlanders finished out regular season play. The loss takes the Highlanders to 10-3-4 and 4-1-2 in the E8 while the win takes the Ducks to 11-5-2 and 6-1 in the E8. The loss for the Highlanders makes them the #3 seed in the Empire 8 Conference tournament. The win gives Stevens the #1 seed in the Empire 8 Conference tournament as well as the rights to host the tournament are their school.

>> Early in the first half senior Tyler Ashley had a great scoring opportunity on a give and go play at the top of the Ducks 18 yard box and ripped a shot that just barely tailed wide of the goal.
>> Late in the second half the Ducks got on the board when the Highlander goalkeeper was involved in a scrum inside the Highlanders 18 yard box and the ball slipped to a Ducks forward who ripped a shot into the back of the Houghton goal.
