HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton field hockey sent their lone senior,
Kelsie Ashley, out on a winning note as the Highlanders defeated Nazareth 4-0 in the team's final game of the season on Saturday.
And Ashley did her part, scoring Houghton's first and fourth goals.
Nicole Jennings also scored, and sophomore
Tanya Hatton put her team-leading 12th goal of the campaign into the back of the net.
Ashley finished her senior season with eight goals and a team-high nine assists.
The Highlanders outshot the Golden Flyers 27-2 and dominated in penalty corners 14-3.Â
Elizabeth Piszker stopped two shots in net.
Houghton finished the season with a record of 8-9 overall and 3-5 in the E8.
