HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Highlanders blanked the Alfred University Saxons, 1-0, in an extra time affair to remain undefeated in the Empire 8 Conference. In the process, Jacob Dunnett broke the program career mark in shutouts with 29.

The win takes the Highlanders to 6-2-2 and 3-0 in Empire 8 play while the loss takes the Saxons to 6-3-1 and 1-1-1 in Empire 8 play.

>> The Highlanders had a great opportunity to score early in the second half when sophomore Ben Lawrence ripped a shot just inside the 18 yard box forcing the Saxons' goalkeeper to make a beautiful diving save to keep the Highlanders off the scoreboard.
>> Highlanders senior Landon Sheaffer scored the game winning goal directing a shot past the Saxons goalkeeper off a pass driven in hard by sophomore Andrew Bussey in the first overtime.
