HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Ithaca College's Marc Chasin scored 25 second-half points to lead the Bombers past the Houghton Highlanders in the final minutes of a game that saw 16 lead changes.
The Highlanders let a 10-point first-half lead slip away, but rallied from a six-point second-half deficit to regain the lead. A
Jordan Scott (Burlington, ON, Canada, Notre Dame Secondary) layup put Houghton up by three with less than three minutes to play but the Highlanders were unable to hold on.
As the game clock dwindled, Ithaca sank three layups and went 5-6 from the foul line, while the Highlanders sank one three-pointer but could not convert on their remaining attempts.

The Bombers: >Chacin finished the game with 29 points to lead all scorers while Joey Flanagan scored 24, 17 of which came in the first half.
>Peter Ezema finished the night with 17 points, 15 rebounds and four steals.
Stat Analysis: >While the Highlanders forced 24 Bomber turnovers, and converted them into 35 points, Ithaca shot a stifling 54.5 percent from the floor, including 9 of 20 from beyond the arch.
>Houghton shot nearly 47 percent from the floor, but 22 personal fouls gave the Bombers six more foul shots than the Highlanders. They would convert on 17 of 22 from the stripe, while the Highlanders made only eight of 16.
