UTICA, N.Y. -- Houghton women's lacrosse closed out its 2015 campaign with a 17-9 loss at Utica College on Saturday.

The loss ended the team's season with a a record of 5-10 and 2-6 in the Empire 8. The five wins were the most since the program started three years ago.

Meghan Oswald finished with two goals, 10 groundballs, five draw controls and four caused turnovers. Jennifer Zacchigna scored three goals to finish with 45 on the season. Chandler Jones had a goal and four assists, giving her 23 goals and 49 assists on the year. Elizabeth Westwood chipped in with three goals.

Kourtnie Franklins had a season-high 19 saves on the afternoon.
