The Highlanders softball team lost their first two games of the year.

In the first game Hanover College had a 4-0 lead going into the fourth inning and then the Highlanders rallied.  They scored 7 runs in the fourth inning. The Panthers took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for an 11-7 win.

In the second game of the day against Lyndon State College the Highlanders were led by senior Adrean Tiffany (Loweville, NY) who went 2 for 4 with a double and a single, but Tiffany's performance was not enough to keep up with the Lyndon State's bats and the Hornets earned a 9-3 win.
