Kate graduated from Houghton College in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science in Inclusive Childhood Education.
While at Houghton, she was a member of the women's soccer team for four years and a member of the track & field teams for three. During her time as a track & field student-athlete, Kate achieved honors from the conference and the NCCAA; she was First Team All-Conference for the Distance Medley Relay twice (2016 and 2018 Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships), Second Team All-Conference for the 4x400m Relay (2018 Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships), and was a 2016 Indoor Track & Field NCCAA All-American in the 4x800m Relay.
In the classroom, she appeared on the NCCAA Scholar-Athlete list six times and also appeared on the Empire 8 President's List.
In addition to her duties with the track & field teams, Kate is pursuing her Master's in Literacy from St. Bonaventure University.
