Olivia Scarbrough joins the Houghton softball program as an assistant coach in August 2020.
The Sellersburg, Ind. native was a four-year letterwinner for the Grace College softball team and a two-year captain, 2019-20. Throughout her career, Scarbrough made 139 appearances with 122 starts at middle infield. She was an outstanding player for the Lancers, especially at the plate. All four years for the Lancers, she led the squad in hit by pitches, accumulating 46. Scarbrough had breakout year as a junior where she led her team with 11 sacrifice hits and had 10 multi-hit games.Â
With the Highlanders, Scarbrough’s responsibilities will include working with the infield, spiritual and player development, and assisting Head Coach Katie Sinclair with recruiting.
Scarbrough holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from Grace College in Sports Management and is enrolled in Houghton’s College Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program.
