Hannah Simmons joined the softball coaching staff in September 2017 after graduating from Houghton in May 2017 with a major in psychology and minor in sports ministry.
Simmons transferred to Houghton from Columbia Greene Community College, where she played outfield on the softball team. She had an overall batting average of .375, and on-base percentage of .438 and fielding percentage of .945.
She chose not to play softball at Houghton, instead served three years as a manager for the men's lacrosse program.
Simmons, a native of Copake, N.Y., assists with recruiting, scouting, practice planning and player development.
