Phalon assists Head Coach Katie Sinclair with player development for pitchers in the softball program.
Phalon is originally from Smethport, Pa. where she was the Olean Times Herald Big 30 Player of the Year in 2008. She also held a 0.00 ERA her senior year in high school, with two 20 strikeout games.
Phalon continued her career at St. Bonaventure where she became a primary pitcher her sophomore year with the Bonnies. In 2009, her St. Bonaventure team made it to the Atlantic 10 Playoffs. Phalon held a 3.7 ERA her senior year, with her favorite game coming in a 1-0 loss to UMass her junior year, when she gave up only 4 hits to the number 1 team in the conference.
After her playing career was over, she became the pitching coach at St. Bonaventure University working with a staff of 2 freshmen and a sophomore. She continues to work with St. Bonaventure softball camps and clinics on a regular basis.
Currently, Phalon is coachig the JV softball team at Allegany-Limestone, and was an assistant coach for the 16U Olean Synergy travel team this past summer. Phalon is also a private pitching instructor for 30-40 girls, from areas up to an hour radius, in both NY and PA.
