Elsa Cole enters her first year as an assistant coach with the cross country and track and field programs in 2022-2023.
Cole was a two-time high school state champion in the steeplechase and a seven-time overall medalist at the state level. Â Cole was also a member and three-year captain of her high school soccer team. Â
The Fillmore, NY native attended Lipscomb University as a track and field athlete and majored in Kinesiology. Â Although injury derailed her college track career, she hopes to use her experiences to support the Highlanders in finding joy and personal success on and off the track.
