FILLMORE, NY -- The Highlanders took on the SUNY Delhi Broncos at Fillmore High School, where they could utilize the turf field due to the rain. Houghton got off to a slow start dropping the first game to the Broncos. However, they would return in the second game, smashing the ball, allowing them to run-rule SUNY Delhi in the fifth inning.

Houghton 1, SUNY Delhi 3
The rain in the first game may have thrown the Highlanders off, but the Broncos would not be fazed as they would utilize the opportunities Houghton would give them. With some times of not paying attention and some errors, this would allow SUNY Delhi to get around the bases and score, while also scoring on a wild pitch. Houghton's only run of the game would come from Houghton's Female Athlete Of The Year, Taylor Sile as she hit a high home run to left field.

Houghton 16, SUNY Delhi 2
After losing to the Broncos, Houghton would come back with a punch. Only allowing SUNY Delhi to score 2 runs vs. their 16. Caitlyn Cybart would start off Houghton in the first inning hitting a single that would score Barbara Richert. The Highlanders would put up four, five, three, and four runs as the innings progressed. Houghton would be led by Barbara Richert with a 3 for 3 batting average, recording three runs, Taylor Sile would also have an impact going 3 for 3 as well and record four runs. Andrea Taboni would also be a game leader going 3 for 3, hitting one run in.
