TROY, NY— The Highlanders suffered a pair of losses at the hands of Sage at Robison Field on Saturday afternoon with the scores of 4-3 and 2-1 (10).

Game 1: Taylor Sile recorded her fourth homer of the season, but the Highlanders were edged in the seventh inning as a Sage RBI decided game one.
Houghton was able to plate two in the sixth and seventh innings thanks to an RBI single and RBI grounded out to third base.

Game 2: Extra innings were needed to determined game two, but Houghton was once again edged in the bottom of the tenth.
Houghton's only run came from a wild pitch, which plated
Caitlyn Cybart in the first, giving the Highlanders the lead throughout the top of the fourth. However, the Gators' fourth-inning effort tied the ballgame, 1-1, on an RBI double.
Game two carried on into the 10th inning. With the extra-innings "runner on second" rule in play, the Highlanders struggled to push runners across the plate. Houghton left two on base and ended the top of the 10th scoreless while Sage plated one on an RBI single to end the game.
Kaylee Jentsch (5-5) took the loss in the circle for the Highlanders.
