In the bottom of the fourth Adrienne Huston (New Waterford, OH, Crestview High School) came to the plate with two outs and runners on first and second. Huston hit a single into right field that gave Jessica Hayner (Waterford, NY, Shenendehowa) enough time to score from second.

After a scoreless fifth inning the Bombers added on three in the sixth to take an 11-2 lead.

The Highlanders failed to score a run in the bottom half of the sixth, which put the eight run rule in affect.

In game two the Bombers took the lead in the first scoring two runs on two hits in the top of the first.

In the second and third innings Bombers' pitcher Allison Macari kept the Highlanders' batters off balance and the Bombers added on another four runs to take a 6-0 lead.

In the top of the fourth the Bombers took advantage of two Highlanders fielding errors and scored three more to take a 9-0 lead.

The Highlanders finally got on the board in the bottom half of the fourth when Ashley Schenk (Victoria, BC, Canada, Pacific Christian School) grounded out to the pitcher, but did her job and scored the runner from third to make the score 9-1.
