The Highlanders softball team finished up their spring trip on Saturday against the Augustana College Vikings in Clermont, Florida.
The Vikings jumped out to a quick 4 run lead in the top of the second and never slowed down.
The Vikings continued scoring and really blew the game open in the sixth scoring 6 runs and making the score 11-0.
The Highlanders could not score any runs in the bottom of the sixth and loss 11-0, because the ten run mercy rule was in effect.
Morgan York recorded the only hit for the Highlanders.
The Highlanders second game scheduled for Saturday against Otterbein University was cancelled due to the rainy conditions.Â
