Eighth Season

Hannah (Zgrablich) Ogden was named head coach of the Houghton College field hockey program prior to the 2015 season.

She led the Highlanders to an 8-9 overall record and a 3-5 mark in the Empire 8 during her inaugural season at the helm. During her second season, she again led the Highlanders to an 8-9 overall record and a 3-5 mark in the Empire 8.

The third season was the charm for Ogden, who guided her squad to a 10-8 mark (4-3 E8) and the program's first-ever post-season appearance as the E8 Tournament 4th seed. It was the first double-digit win season for the Highlanders since the 2005 campaign.

Ogden, a native of Furlong, Pa., was a four-year member of the Highlander program, starting 67 of 68 games during her career, which she wrapped up after the fall 2014 season. Her senior campaign was her best statistically as she tied for the team-high with five goals, while adding three assists.

She finished her career with nine goals, seven assists and 12 defensive saves. She was an Empire 8 Conference Honorable Mention selection after both the 2013 and 2014 seasons and was the team's selection to the E8 Sportswoman of the Year team last fall.

In the classroom, Hannah was a four-time selection to the Gladiator by SGI / NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, graduating with a major in communication and concentration in integrated marketing.

Hannah was also a member of the Highlander lacrosse team during its inaugural season in 2013.

She is the 13th coach in the program's 31-year history.

Hannah and her husband, Luke Ogden (Instructor of Vocal Music, and Assistant Men's Soccer Coach), were married in 2016 and live in Houghton with their three children: Brooks, Ezra and Dorothy.
