A CHRISTIAN PROGRAM
As a Christian College, Houghton College is striving to educate our student body so they can grow and mature in all areas of their lives and have an impact on the communities in which they live. As a result, we are looking for athletes who are serious about their faith, and have the maturity to handle the high expectations and standards of our program. Our foundation is set upon our faith in Christ and we want to integrate that faith in everything we do--both on and off the field.

A GREAT LEVEL OF PLAY
In addition to finding players that are a good fit, we are looking for players who have a high level of athletic ability. Our athletes choose Houghton over other schools because of the quality, environment, culture, and unbelievable team chemistry found in our program. We believe in developing athletes from all levels of God given talent and we believe that makes us one of the best options for your collegiate athletic growth.

THE RECRUITING PROCESS
We are committed to finding top level players who fit Houghton as a Christian college. The team is made up of recruited athletes and walk on's but we want to make sure you understand the recruiting process:

SEND US YOUR SCHEDULE:
We wish we could see every single recruit in a race at some point, unfortunately that's not possible but we do our best to get to as Many events as possible and sending your schedule will help us plan our visits.

1. Contact Us. Fill out our online recruiting form so we will have your information. In addition, feel free to contact the head coach via email.

2. Make a visit to campus with your parents. You can schedule through our Admissions Office at (800-777-2556)or email visitoffice@houghton.edu, and make an appointment through them to talk with the coaches while here on campus.

3. If possible, plan to see one of our college meets. We can generally arrange time for you to meet a coach and talk with some the athletes on our team while we at a meet. It also offers you a great chance to see our team in action.
