Houghton University Athletics

Roger L. Robinson was a two-sport standout for the Class of 1973. He excelled in track and field for four years and in basketball for three years. Roger was a regular and important contributor to the basketball program where he excelled as a forward, tallying 259 points and 231 rebounds in 59 career games. An athlete remembered for his explosive speed, he at one time held the school record in the 100-yard dash. Roger still holds the Houghton College school record in the following events:

                                - 220 Yard Dash                     21.6 seconds
